Know Everything about Neet Exam:

The National Eligibility and Entrance Test, or NEET, is a test that is being considered to

replenish about 54,000 medical facilities across the country. According to the 2016 Supreme

Court decision, NEET will be the only study to fill all quotas in India and state-level quotas

throughout the country. This exam also applies to the completion of private universities

throughout the country.


Initially it was proposed to apply NEET from 2012. However, for several reasons, the CBSE

and the Indian Medical Council have postponed NEET for a year. This test was announced by

the Government of India and was held on May 5, 2013 for the first time in India for students

wishing to apply for undergraduate and postgraduate medicine. On July 18, 2013, the

Oversight Committee issued a decree supporting 115 petitions, revoking the NEET test and

announcing that MCI could not intervene in the college admission process.

After the announcement of the Indian Medical Council to launch the 2012 NEET-UG test,

several countries, including Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, West Bengal, and Tamil

Nadu, strongly opposed changes from the MCI curriculum and curriculum. Even though

NEET 2016 is held in English and Hindi, it is announced that students will write exams in

Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, and Assamski languages ​​starting from 2017

onwards. Kannada and Odia languages ​​are added to the list so students can write exams in

nine Indian languages ​​and in English. The Supreme Court of India overturned the National

Examination (NEET) notification to enter all medical and dental colleges on July 18, 2013.

The Supreme Court ruled that the Indian Medical Council cannot conduct individual tests.

According to a report by the CBSE in 2013 CBSE AIPMT on May 4, plans to hold 2014

Final decisions about NEET UG are planned to be taken after the decision of the Supreme

Court of India.


NEET can be given either during UG or PG-

For NEET-UG, questions arise in the fields of physics, chemistry, botany, and zoology. There

are 45 questions in each section. The correct answer gives the candidate 4 points and for each

error - 1. If the candidate has not tried to ask a question, no deduction has been done. The

total duration is 3 hours.

In NEET-PG the paper is divided into 3 parts: part A with 50 questions, part B with 100

questions, part B with 150 questions. For each correct answer, 4 ratings will be given and 1

will be deducted for each wrong answer. If the candidate has not tried to ask a question, there

is no negative marking. The total duration is 3 hours and 30 minutes.


The applicant must be 17 years old at the time of appearing or must be 17 years old on or

before December 31, the year he enters MBBS / BDS for the first year and must be an Indian


(ii) The upper age limit for the applicants thinking of admission under 15% All India Quota

Seats is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance exam. This age limit will be

reduced for candidates for ST/ SC OBC for a period of 5 (five) years. Applicants must be

born on or between

(a)01.01.84 and 01.01.97 (SC / ST / OBC category)

(b) from 01.01.89 to 01.01.97 (Other categories).

Please note: Students from Andhra Pradesh and J & K are not entitled to 15% of all Indian

quota sites because both countries have left the All India program from the start. However,

state students are entitled to a 100% MBBS / BDS place in medical / dental colleges in

Andhra Pradesh and J & K.

The qualification criteria is also different for all the SC/ST and OBCs, accordingly.
